DAASV at America's Cup World Series 8/23/12

During 8/22-26/12 the America's Cup World Series held one of their sailboat racing events in San Francisco Bay. The Dartmouth Alumni Association of Silicon Valley along with the local Harvard and Brown alumni clubs held a special event on the Seaward, an 82-foot schooner arranged through the Olympic Circle Sailing Club in Berkeley, CA. A special rum tasting event was provided by Appleton Estate Rum.

The racing was terrific, if distant along the shore by Marina Green. The companions were excellent, and sailing on SF Bay is always a delight.
