DAASV and Admissions Process 9/24/12

On 9/24/12 the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Silicon Valley (DAASV) and the Dartmouth Club of Greater San Francisco hosted an opportunity for club member parents and students to discover what it takes to become a Dartmouth student today. Attendees spent some social time sharing at the University Club of Palo Alto, then Isabel Bober '04, Associate Director of Admissions at Dartmouth College, provided several application packages for participants to review and discuss. After interactive discussion of each application and voting on which application lead to acceptance, wait listing, or rejection, participants were told what actually happened with each. It was a unique opportunity to better understand the application process and how the College considers applicants.
