DAASV/DCGSF OCSC Member-Appreciation Event 091004

The 2009 Dartmouth Alumni Membership Appreciation Event for the SF Bay Area was held at the Berkeley Marina at Olympic Circle Sailing Club. Alumni, parents, and families were welcome to share the day by the Bay. There were many activities prepared, among them kite making and decorating (the wind is steady and very reliable), hearing Anthony Sandberg of OCSC speak to us of Secrets of San Francisco Bay, and taking advantage of the opportunity to go sailing on the Bay with OCSC boats and crews. Lunch by James and Scott was wonderful, as usual, prepared on the OCSC BBQs.

During the event, OSCS provided sailboats for attendees to go out on San Francisco Bay. One-hour sails were arranged during the event.

We were told there was an opportunity to take an hour-long ride on the bay and find out more about sailing with OCSC, so we hurried out to the boats.
