DAASV Broom Hockey 1/17/2010

DAASV played broom hockey at Winter Lodge in Palo Alto, CA on 1/17/10. Arriving members and guests checked in, then took to the ice for an hour of intense play. After, we had some eats and drinks, we spent a pleasant time shcializing.

Winter Lodge in Palo Alto, CA is an has an outdoor rink and inside ice, where we plan to play broom hockey.
Dartmouth alumni entered and walked to the back, where a picnic area and the ice rink await. Scott Safadi '03 and Whitney MacFadyen '07 made arrangements for the young alumns and others.

No fancy officials - just get out there and play.
There was a lot of foot work in addition to broom work.

Meanwhile, dogs were cooking on the grill.
After that hard work, the competitors retired to the picnic area for something to drink and eat.
There was a nice opportunity for relaxed conversations.
Good friends celebrating a good time.
Most of the participants were young alumns.
