Master Gardeners at the Italian American Heritage Foundation 9/26/10
On 9/20/2010 Jim Maley and Janet Hamma, Santa Clara County Master Gardeners, joined the Italian-American Heritage Foundation of San Jose, CA to provide information about plants and gardening. Jim Maley discussed varieties of chillies and Janet Hamma answered questions about gardening. Information was available from the Master Gardeners for the attendees.
Terry Ann Bengiveno first presented information about an agricultural information interchange program with farmers in southern Italy. Then Phil Cosentino discussed organic vs. commercial agriculture and the retail perspective. Jim Maley presented a slide show about varieties of chillies, and Janet Hamma explained the Master Gardeners as a source of information. The presentations were followed by an enthusiastic question-and-answer session. Lunch was served, and conversations continued.
These photos are available to participants to download and use. High quality prints are available by clicking on the "Buy" button above the image. If any are published, a photo credit to George Hamma would be appreciated.
