Kids to Grass Valley Animals 6/19/15
A group hopped in the big van to visit the farmland near Grass Valley, CA and the interesting animals living there. Along the way we encountered a genuine swimming hole in a flowing creek - a rarity in this season of drought.
We met a hobbyist who is building track and laying it around his place so he and other rail enthusiast friends can fire up their coal-powered steam engines and experience a bit if yesteryear. Bob
provided the hay ride to get from place to place. It was an interesting, very full day for the Bay Area contingent.
