  • There was a lot of driftwood debris on the nearby beach - from all the rain this past winter.
  • Judith was ready to help the rigs get parked and, later, start the competitors on the course.
  • Riders and horses arrived in rigs of all sizes. Early arrivals were able to be located on the dirt near the start (desirable for the horses). Later the parking lot area set aside for the event accommodated the remaining rigs.
  • The judges had an information session, and then they were sent out to the challenges on the trail.
  • Arrivals came in all sizes.

  • Everyone checked in at the on-site registration to get their competitor number and rider information. Many had registered in advance online.
