Erin's Bday 6/20/10

When we pulled up to park the garage door was open with two cars visible. This '57 Ford convertible hardtop was a surprising but familiar site. The continental kit (spare tire in front of the bumper) was there as well.

With three engines of varying improvement (4bbl, 3x2bbl, supercharged) the amount of rubber to be removed from the tires could be varied to preference.

Next to the Ford was a Rolls - beautiful and classy.

The hood ornament was carefully set aside.

With a large straight 6, aluminum body (steel top), this car could go.

The trunk had the original set of tools, in addition to the jack handle (the jacks are built in).

Doug had two BBQs going, with chicken and beef slowly cooking.

Dessert
