MINI Tech Day/Car Care Clinic 6/14/15

On 6/14/15 MINI of Stevens Creek held a MINI Tech Day/Car Care Clinic at their facility. If you couldn't make it, you missed a great session on MINIs, cars, driving, automotive history, and automotive technology.

Signing in before the event. Special parking arranged just outside.
We met in the shop for the event.
MoSC had gathered a varied collection of different models - really helpful when discussing the history of the brand.
We were only using a small part of the shop, but it had everything we needed for the event.
An ice-breaker game was to connect the model designations (e.g., R60) with the model (e.g., Countryman). The example cars had carefully prepared labels to help with the challenge.
Dividing the attendees into different sessions on specific topics.
One session was on tires - immediately useful info from Jennifer
Cylinder heads with valvetronic adjustment, along with turbochargers and superchargers.
Adjustable timing valve system.

One MINI was really exposed, with the engine out.
